Czech donor eggs: the EU’s best-kept secret?

Czech donor eggs: the EU’s best-kept secret?

Mention donor eggs abroad and many people think of Spain. But there are other places in the EU to have donor-egg treatment. Like the Czech Republic. It’s the best-kept secret in the IVF world: cheaper than everywhere else, but offering fabulous care. We know, because that’s where we went.

Let’s look at our Czech clinic’s prices. Brace yourself. IVF: under £2,200. Donor eggs: under £4,300. Donor embryos: under £1,000. That’s half the price of the UK, once you add in the extras. Prices at Spanish clinics have risen fast in recent years. Not so in the Czech Republic.

Some patients consider Cyprus. The actress Tina Malone had donor-egg treatment there. At 50, she wouldn’t have been treated in the UK, Spain or the Czech Republic. But clinics in Cyprus look too commercialised to us. And donor supply can’t match the Czech Republic, where you’ll find a broader range of looks. The Czech Republic has lots of students. Since most Czech donors are students, there’s a fantastic donor pool.

Czech fertility clinics have flourished in recent years. Over 30,000 cycles are now carried out each year. The Czech Republic’s status as a top IVF destination has evolved, helped by very positive feedback on forums and review sites. Patients like the easy flights to Prague and Brno, the stress-free holiday-style experience and the can-do attitude at Czech clinics.

Over than great prices and excellent donor choice, there are other benefits in using Czech clinics for donor-egg treatment. First, you get more details about your donor using an agency like ours to arrange your treatment. Second, you’re guaranteed a minimum number of embryos. And third, Czech cryobanks are among the best in the world. That means a better chance of a successful FET in the future (for a sibling, or a second go).

Spain and Cyprus are an easy sell to UK couples. They’ve been on holiday there, or know someone who has. But successful treatment isn’t about sun and familiarity. What’s important are results, standard of care and long-term management of your fertility journey. The steady, reliable work of the well-regulated Czech fertility clinics make them a serious consideration.

I have been through 6 donor egg ivf attempts in Spain, with one positive beta which ended in miscarriage. I am 45, have one child (naturally conceived), but at 43 my AMH levels dropped. My endometrium thickness has been on the thin side (7-8 mm), but my NK levels are fine and my clotting is also fine. What would you suggest as a treatment for me?

Hi there, We are interested in embryo adoption. We have 2 sons ages 6 and 9 from previous embryo adoptions. We are wanting to have one last child. I spent 10 years going through IVF and failed due to very severe pcos and poor egg quality. I had no problems carrying either child to term. I’m a very healthy height/weight proportionate 46 year old. Husband is a very healthy Englishman who has long since adapted to Texas. Our children have dual us/uk citizenship and we travel around the world on adventures. What is your wait time for donations? What are the cost involved? Please advise. Thank you so much.

I’ve just turned 46 and am very healthy, but, as to be expected for my age, I have a low AMH. I would liketo know if its impossible for my to give birth with a surrogate carrying my baby? I know the chances might be low but… I’m prepared to take the risk for own baby. Sperm is already frozen in Madrid and could be couriered to your clinic. I live between Uk and Australia so would be looking at only one visit to your clinic for treatment. I’ve had all of the tests required by most IVF clinics and would be ready to proceed with donor eggs (with gender balancing) in August, if the surrogacy doesn’t work. Can you help? Oh and I’m blonde with Danish decent, would you be able to acurately matcha blonde haired, green eyed girl that looks like me?

Is it possible to use a donor egg + sperm and have a surrogate to carry the baby? Can this center arrange all this? If so how is it done legally for a parent to take the baby home? please advise.
