In-depth stories from some of our patients

Every fertility journey is different. While clinic success rates and treatment statistics are important, they only tell part of the story. Sometimes the greatest reassurance comes from reading about real people who have faced the same challenges—and gone on to build the family they always hoped for.

Our patient stories feature couples who chose a variety of treatment paths, including IVF abroad, donor egg IVF and frozen embryo transfer (FET). Some had experienced failed IVF cycles in the UK, while others travelled overseas after researching alternative clinics and treatment options.

Why We Share Patient Stories

Choosing a fertility clinic is one of the biggest decisions you’ll ever make. Costs, success rates and medical expertise all matter, but patient experiences provide a perspective that statistics alone can’t.

If you’re still researching your options, you may also find our guides to IVF success rates, IVF abroad and choosing a fertility clinic helpful.

Every IVF Journey Is Unique

No two fertility journeys are the same. Some couples conceive after their first IVF cycle, while others require several attempts before achieving a successful pregnancy. For some, donor eggs provide the best chance of success. Others simply benefit from finding the right clinic and treatment plan.

We hope the stories offer reassurance, practical advice and hope as you begin your own journey.

Real IVF Family
Patient Story

Sarah and Jonathan

We had been trying for a baby for about three years before we decided to speak to our doctor. After some initial tests, which failed to find a reason for our struggles, we requested fertility treatment and were approved funding for a single round of IVF.

Patient Story

Jo and Mark

Mark and I met later in life. It soon became obvious we would be spending the rest of our lives together. I was thrilled when I fell pregnant naturally at 39, but things sadly didn’t go to plan.

Patient Story

Emma and Geoff

When I met my husband, I knew our journey to parenthood would be tough. Geoff had children in a previous relationship, after which he had a vasectomy. After a couple of years together we knew we wanted to try for children of our own.
